Description


Dorsal spines (total): 9; Dorsal soft rays (total): 12 - 13; Anal spines: 3; Anal soft rays: 12. This species is distinguished by the following characters: greatest body depth 3.1-3.2 in SL. Colour of male (female similar) greyish on upper back, white or pale yellow on ventral part; a broad brown stripe on side at eye level. with several white spots along lower edge of this stripe, mainly on posterior half; upper pectoral-fin base with a small black spot; middle of dorsal fin with a pale-edged black spot (Ref. 90102).
