Description


Dorsal spines (total): 12; Dorsal soft rays (total): 15 - 17; Anal spines: 3; Anal soft rays: 9. Maxilla reaching to below center of eye; soft portion of dorsal fin relatively high; silvery gray with dark stripes on upper half of body, the region between the upper most stripe and the dorsal fin yellow (Ref. 13442).
