    • North America: St. Lawrence-Great Lakes, Hudson Bay and Mississippi River basins from southern Quebec to northern Alberta in Canada, and south to Ohio, Illinois and Colorado in the USA.

    Biology


    Inhabit vegetated lakes, pools of headwaters, creeks and small to medium rivers (Ref. 5723). Eggs are found attached to the substrate unguarded (Ref. 7043).
