Dorsal spines (total): 0; Dorsal soft rays (total): 12; Anal spines: 0; Anal soft rays: 8. Diagnosis: Mouth subterminal; barbels absent; lateral line incomplete; 22-23 scales in lateral line; 9 circumpeduncular scales; 2.5 scales between lateral line and pelvic fin insertions; gill rakers present along lower limb of first gill arch; 5 round spots on the sides, first above opercle, 3 on sides and 1 on caudal peduncle (Ref. 81639).
