  • Circumglobal between the Subtropical Convergence and the Antarctic Polar Front. Atlantic Ocean: 51°-53°S, 40°-49°W. Indian Ocean: 47°-48°S, 70°-71°E. Pacific Ocean: 58°S, 145°W and south of 60°S between about 75°W and 120°W.

    • Biology

    Oceanic and mesopelagic, found between 0-200 m at night (Ref. 4066). Recorded from the stomachs of Champsocephalus gunnari and Dissostichus eleginoides.
