Dorsal soft rays (total): 5 - 7; Anal soft rays: 4; Vertebrae: 18 - 20. Cephalic lateral-line counts: subopercular usually 6 (5-6); preopercular 2. Tail lateral-line counts 10-15. Fins small, slender (Ref. 40826).
