Description
Dorsal soft rays (total): 9 - 11; Anal soft rays: 28 - 31; Vertebrae: 30 - 32. Characterized by having kidney-shaped black throat mark; dorsal and caudal transverse bars present; spotted opercle; opercle with black lower margin; subdorsal scale, mode 6 ½; postdorsal scales, mode12; anal fin rays, mode 29; and lateral scales, mode 31 (Ref. 56386).
