Description


Dorsal fin concave, first branched ray reaching at most base of last one; dorsal fin with 11½ branched rays; body slender, depth 27.2-29.8% SL; tip of snout with several very small tubercles; snout length 10.3-11.6% HL; caudal peduncle depth 11.5-12.7% SL, 1.35-1.65 times in its length; tip of first branched anal-fin ray not reaching base of caudal fin; all fins pale yellowish brown; black midlateral stripe faint and inconspicuous in large adults, and with irregular edges; and lateral stripe extending to tip of medium caudal rays (Ref. 81211).
