• Africa: Gabon, Angola and Democratic Republic of the Congo. Present in the lower Congo River (Ref. 94750).

Biology

Occurs in coastal swamps and swampy parts of brooks and small streams in the coastal rainforest (Ref. 3788). Not a seasonal killifish. Is difficult to maintain in aquarium (Ref. 27139).
