Description

Dorsal soft rays (total): 6; Anal soft rays: 3 - 4; Vertebrae: 36. Lower lip with a median notch and having a posterior margin with small laciniate projections. Caudal fin emarginate. Male genital papilla immediately behind the anus in a depression terminating posteriorly with a straight transverse wall. Maxillary barbel with rounded tip and laciniate posterior margin (Ref. 44353).
