Dorsal spines (total): 1; Dorsal soft rays (total): 25 - 26; Anal spines: 1; Anal soft rays: 17 - 18. Caudal vertebrae, 22-24 (usually 23). Lateral line scales usually 38-41. Anterior lateral line scales 28-35, usually 30-34.
