Description

Distribution According to San Vicente (2016) this meso- to bathypelagic species shows a panoceanic distribution, latitudinal range 66 º N – 74 º S, depth range 650 – 4023 m. This species has been reported by Illig (1930) as the synonym Gnathophausia drepanephora Holt & Tattersall, 1905, from material taken by the “ Valdivia ” Expedition in the Angola Basin.
