Description


Dorsal soft rays (total): 91 - 93; Anal spines: 2; Anal soft rays: 44 - 47; Vertebrae: 98 - 100. Second anal fin spine stout and spur-like. Body dark brown, becoming lighter ventrally; the opercle black, inside of the mouth and gill cavities black.
