Dorsal spines (total): 0; Dorsal soft rays (total): 7; Anal spines: 0. Diagnosis: caudal fin with 7+8 principal rays; caudal peduncle 1.6-2 times longer than deep; snout longer than post-orbit length; eyes placed distinctly nearer to hind margin of head than to tip of snout (Ref. 81646).
