Ambassis jacksoniensis (Macleay, 1881)

Description


Dorsal spines (total): 8; Dorsal soft rays (total): 9 - 11; Anal spines: 3; Anal soft rays: 8 - 9; Vertebrae: 24. Adults have a single supraorbital spine, a short-based, deeply notched dorsal fin, and are transparent and silvery (Ref. 33616).
