Description
Dorsal spines (total): 4 - 6; Dorsal soft rays (total): 33 - 36; Anal soft rays: 30 - 34. Uniformly brownish but with darker markings or uniformly black. Prominent acoustico-lateralis channel on the head, absence of connecting orbital branches of the ethmoid, short frontal and narrow parasphenoid (Ref. 11892).
