Description
Dorsal spines (total): 2; Dorsal soft rays (total): 6 - 7; Anal soft rays: 10 - 13; Vertebrae: 44 - 45. Distinguished from its congeners by a unique combination of the following characters: head length 29.0-32.5% SL, a gently curving snout and a slender, deeply-incised humeral process, and nine vertical columns of black spots on the sides of the body (Ref. 41209).
